Zane Akermane is an associate, specialising in real estate and advising clients on lease, acquisitions, co-ownership issues, construction and other matters related to immovable property.
Before joining Sorainen, Zane spent four years at one of the leading law firms in Latvia where she provided assistance in carrying out due diligence for major real estate transactions, drafting agreements and other documents regarding lease and acquisitions of property, dealing with environmental law issues and other matters.
Zane also has experience in tax law, consumer protection and regulatory matters.
Zane was involved in writing “European Union Law II. The Substantive Law” edited by Dr.iur. Cristoph Schewe, where Zane authored chapters on “Free Movement of Goods” and “Free Movement of Capital and Payments.”
