B. Lafe Metz


Mr. Metz is the chair of Buchanan Ingersoll Rooney PC's real estate practice group, based in Pittsburgh. His practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, finance, land use, development and leasing, with emphasis on tax-advantaged transactions, incentives and financing. He also represents property owners in real estate tax assessment and exemption matters and other federal, state and local tax litigation. He holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University Law School, a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English from Cornell University. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Ohio state bars.
