Joanne Su is the Asia Pacific Transfer Pricing Markets Leader of Ernst & Young and a Senior Transfer Pricing Partner in Ernst & Young's member firm in China.
Joanne has been a tax/transfer pricing adviser in China (to present), UK and Singapore since 1994 and was trained as a chartered accountant in the UK, where she worked as an international tax and transfer pricing adviser. Joanne has in-depth industry knowledge and in particular, Life Sciences and Automotive & Transportation industries.
Being in China since 2002, Joanne has extensive practical experiences in Chinese transfer pricing controversy and planning work. Joanne acts as adviser to more than a dozen Global and US Fortune 500 companies, assisting them in China-wide transfer pricing dispute resolution, planning and documentation work for their Chinese affiliates.
Joanne is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Joanne is a seasoned speaker in transfer pricing forums and has fostered strong government relationships across the country. She has also participated in round table discussions organized by the State Administration of Taxation and local tax bureaus across the country.
