Jessica Tien is a principal economist at DLA Piper (US) LLP.  Resident in the Palo Alto office, Jessica is the transfer pricing advisor for clients headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area and many other cities in the U.S. and China.  Prior to joining DLA Piper, Jessica led the transfer pricing teams at Ernst & Young San Francisco, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Taipei.

Jessica has been involved in a number of tax structuring, intellectual property planning, supply chain transformation, Advance Pricing Agreement negotiations, and tax audit closures,  She is particularly experienced in the high-technology, retail and financial services sectors.  

Jessica has a deep knowledge of China's tax policies and practices.  She has helped with startups and mature companies navigate China's tax environment based on her technical expertise and practical solutions.
