Jeff Maddrey

Jeff Maddrey is a principal in the Financial Services practice of PwC US. He advises clients on international and financial transactions tax planning issues, with a primary focus on the taxation of derivative and other financial instruments as well as transactions in the fixed income, equity, currency, and commodities markets. Jeff is also the immediate past Chair of the Financial Transactions Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation.

Jeff began his career at the IRS National Office as an attorney-advisor in the Financial Institutions and Products division of the National Office. In 1997, Jeff moved to the United States Treasury Department’s Office of Tax Policy where he was first an attorney-advisor and then an Associate Tax Legislative Counsel. Jeff left the Treasury Department in March of 2000.
