   Henk Verstraete is a Partner of the Tax Group at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick in Belgium, a position he has held since joining the firm in 2008. He focuses on Belgian and international tax advisory, transactional and litigation work. This includes assisting clients in the corporate and financial sectors on a wide range of tax matters, including international tax planning and corporate reorganizations.
    Henk teaches tax law at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and is a professor at the Fiscale Hogeschool Brussel (FHS). He is frequently invited as a speaker and regularly publishes on tax-related topics.
     After graduating in law from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven 1999), he obtained a LL.M. in Taxation at the New York University School of Law in 2003, on a Fulbright Scholarship and a Fellowship from the Belgian American Educational Foundation. He also studied at the Law School of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
