Chris Sullivan

Mr. Sullivan is a Shareholder at Rath Young and Pignatelli, P.C.'s Concord office. He also serves as the firm's Treasurer and a member of its Executive Committee. His practice focuses on New Hampshire taxation and multi-state taxation. He regularly represents clients before the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, the Vermont Department of Taxes and various other tax agencies across the country.. His areas of specialty include nexus, apportionment, combined reporting, and foreign source income. He represents clients on numerous state tax matters in multiple states, including but not limited to, planning business structures and transactions in a tax-efficient manner, audit defense and litigation of tax controversies in various states, and representation of clients in state voluntary disclosures, including the Multistate Tax Commission's National Nexus Program. He is a nationally-recognized speaker on state tax issues, having presented at multiple Council on State Taxation (COST) Annual meetings, the Paul J. Hartman State and Local Tax Forum, the Tax Executives Institute, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, the National Multistate Tax Symposium, and the New England State and Local Tax Forum. He is a founder and serves as treasurer of the New England State and Local Tax Forum, which operates New England's premier state and local tax conference.
